New Health Center -- Designed Just for Seniors -- Will Have Easy-Access Examination Tables, Low-Glare Surfaces, Tip-Resistant Chairs, Library, Computers and “Senior Sensitive” Design
CareMore Health Plan, one of California’s fastest growing Medicare plans for seniors, will open CareMore’s Healthy Aging Center in East Los Angeles on August 16, 2007. CareMore serves Medicare recipients in Los Angeles and Orange Counties with comprehensive healthcare plans for seniors and a revolutionary new model of care that combines wellness with medical services to enhance quality of life as a person ages. CareMore is inviting the public to attend its Grand Opening event along with celebrity guest Maria Antonietta de la Nieves. Ribbon cutting will be at 11:00 a.m. A live mariachi band will round out the festivities and Homegirl Café will provide food and drinks for the event.
